A man came to our class once,
he claimed to be a fair judge
with daughters he loved.
He asked a question to the class:
“When should a minor be tried
as an adult?”
and students began raising their hand
he wrote it up on the board.
he wrote it up on the board.
I said, “Rape”
and he paused, he asked
“You mean violent rape?”
“no I mean rape.
It is all the same.”
he looked to a boy
who said “rape only if
he used a weapon and
and I said, “rape is rape,
whether his weapon is a knife,
drugs, or guilt. She said no.”
he shook his head,
“Violent rape” on the board
I never understood,
because you can kill somebody
quietly and peacefully with drugs,
or with guns and knives or cars;
but nobody cares if the murder was “violent”
it was still murder.
Vampire doctors that can smell if you have a blood disease.
Werewolf therapy animals for sick kids.
Nature sprite and nymph nurses that always make sure people have pretty flowers to brighten up their white rooms.
Fauns that go around and sing and dance for patients so that they smile.
Nice monster hospitals would be amazing
Someone write a book about this.
*waves hands in the air*
Pick me! Pick me!
"You’ve become a lot more offensive ever since you started watching Roosterteeth"
coming out of your room at 3 am and seeing your parents
if a u can see a someone’s bra through their shirt do you care. like do u really care. it’s probably a hecka cute bra right and i bet they spent like 20 dollars on that bra. maybe even 30 dollars idk. don’t shun the bra appreciate the bra
It’s underwear. It’s not supposed to be seen
this bra was 60 dollars and it’s pink and white striped the world needs to see this tbh
I love it when people say “underwear shouldn’t be seen” when it’s a girl’s bra, but as soon as the top of a boy band’s boxers show under their jeans it’s all “asdfghjkl”
People, it’s a bit of material… It’s nice material… I am cool with seeing that material…
remember when you used to be real secretive about reading smutty fanfiction and making sure you were the only one in the room and now you read that shit at the dinner table like it’s nothing
its easier to say “they” instead of “she/he” when you’re not sure about someone’s gender so stop acting like everyone is making your life complicated
Random personal opinion time, but I think the war between his good and darkness will continue, because I don’t think he’s as simple as half beast half man. I think Bella, as seen in Lacey, has the capacity to love his dark side for the darkness, and not drive him towards a change he clearly doesn’t want - in that he wants to be what she wants, he wanted to be what his son wanted, but deep inside he wants both love and power. And I think until they both love every part of him and stop trying to make him all good, his weaknesses will remain as weaknesses; but once they treat those weaknesses as parts of him just as beautiful as the good parts, and not expect a fairytale happily ever after, they’ll find that his weaknesses make him whole; hopefully, they’ll find that good and evil aren’t black and white in this world, or in him, and they’ll be stronger and happier than ever once they see that. At least, that’s what I hope. I think it’d send a good message because people spend so much time trying to be perfect and trying to alienate their bad traits and remove them, when really we need to learn to love every part of ourselves and find the strengths within our weaknesses. So far, the Belle/Rumple thing has been about her making him good and bringing out the best in him, and him trying to fight off the evil inside of him - but it makes me slightly uncomfortable because, in essence, it’s him trying to change who he is for “love”, and that’s the exact opposite message to what people should be seeing. She needs to love the good and the bad in him, until he’s comfortable that his tricks and lies don’t need to stay hidden, and that’s how he will get to a point where he at least doesn’t need to lie to her - he’s Rumplestiltskin, he’s not supposed to be perfect, nobody is, and I just think everyone expects too much of him… especially himself, trying to be what he thinks she deserves.
